NOMINATIONS FOR THE 2012 GLOBE AWARDS NOW BEING ACCEPTED
Entries are now open for the 10th edition of the GLOBE Awards for Environmental Excellence, presented annually to extraordinary companies and industry groups from across the country that have shown an exceptional ability to balance competitive strategies and sustainable development.
The 2012 GLOBE Awards will be presented in Vancouver, BC on Friday, March 16 at the closing of GLOBE 2012, the world-renowned international conference and trade fair on the business of energy and environment.
The 2012 GLOBE Awards will be presented in the following six categories:
- The Award for Corporate Environmental Excellence
- The Award for Excellence in Emerging Technology
- The Award for Technology Innovation and Application
- The Award for Excellence in Urban Sustainability
- The Award for Sustainability in Finance
- The Award for Best Green Retailing Practices
Criteria for each GLOBE Awards and submission requirements are available on the GLOBE Awards website.
Deadline for Entries: January 27, 2012.
If you are, or know of, any organization operating in Canada which fulfills the awards criteria, now is the time to start preparing your nomination.
All finalists will receive extensive media coverage and recognition through GLOBE 2012 and our media partners. They will also receive prominent placement on both the GLOBE 2012 and GLOBE Awards websites.
